What's wrong with Playdraughts?

Remember how happy we were with the http://playdraughts.com/ when it came in, how interested they were to create the Pool Checkers room for us, and how well they responded to bug reports and other wishes? Then something happened and we were dropped, they don't respond even to bug reports, for example with one player's move the other guy's clock is ticking. One thing specifically that we wanted was the Training room to conduct online classes - that dream is now is just a memory.

VOG (http://vogclub.com) does have a way to do classes, but they cannot afford (it is a commersial site) to hire a developer to fix some problems and to develop new features. In this regard Playdraughts is so much better - the server and the developer is free, but we need to get them back to work on Pool.

This is really serious ! Something has to be done on www.playdraughts.com Pool Room. I am just from writing to Marcel whom I believe and trust that he will persuade the developer to correct that time error which has been there since last year and I have also requested him to advise the developer to add a Training Room within the Pool Section.

I know he will answer me in the next one or two hours and our requests will be fulfilled ! Whatever he will tell me I will copy and past it here

"Here some different issues are in play:

* At a certain point in time especially from one pool player, Roel was flooded with requests, often on a detail level. When detail requests started to come in that where contrary to previous detail requests and the attitude became a bit 'demanding' Roel understandably grew a bit tired;
* Roel has had some health problems due to which he can not devote as much time to development as he would like;
* In principle, Roel does not develop for variants separately, he develops functionality that can be applied over all variants, both pool checkers and 10x10. Indeed, a training room is on his todo list, but this is not finished yet and also some practical problems with the tournament functionality need to be resolved first

The timer problem by the way looks serious / fundamental / I will ask Roel to give this one priority when he feels good enough as again, health and therefore time currently is an issue.
