Grandmaster Yuriy Kirillov (gamlet) wrote an article http://64-100.com/difficult-calculate-position .
It is of course in Russian and for Russian Checkers (it might work in Pool, I did not test).
You can pretty much ignore the text, just review the moves, that is an univeral draughts language.
