In Need of lessons
I have been playing draught for a lot of years now and still I don't believe I truly comprehend the game. It is with this in mind that I believe to be the best I can be, I need to be taught. I believe my opening is weak and my finishing is poor. I keep seeing danger after I've already committed myself. My reading is what I depend on mostly but even reading is limited to knowledge. I have been looking on some of the live shots to see if I could spot the win before I play it out, but only a limited amount I'm able to see the win. Some of the moves made I would not even think it's the appropriate move. I am therefore willing to be a student and I do believe I'm ready and willing to learn. Where do I start?

Hi Aqua,
At this point you have so many things to study on your own right here on the Jamaican page, start with Live Shots, review Tiger's games (how he adjusted to bot's openings), then get mesmerized by Sokov's positions, learn from Kalinskiy endings techniques and then throw yourself into a sea of Zirik's depth of analysis. You have plenty to work on your own, but do share some brilliant moments with us, try to formulate the ideas you learned in words, this will engage other players, use your skills to create diagrams when showing ideas or asking questions.
Good luck and enjoy!
